Baek Hee Seong (Lee Joongi) and Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won) are a happily married couple with a six-year old daughter Baek Run Ha (Jung Seo Yeon). Baek Hee Seong is a metal craftsman and Cha Ji Won is a detective.
One day, Cha Ji Won gets a case to work on, which is related to a serial killer, who has caused 7 mysterious deaths. While working on it, she gets a man for investigation, a suspect named Do Hyun Su.
On the other hand, Baek Hee Seong, suddenly meets his childhood friend Kim Moo Jin (Seo Hyun Woo). He captures him and keeps him inside his store room of the metal shop. He tortures him and this is where his real identity is revealed. Baek Hee Seong is actually Do Hyun Su, who has a murder charge of killing a village head 15 years back. His father Do Min Seok (Choi Byung Mo) is the serial killer and is known to have an accomplice. The entire investigation agency believes Do Hyun Su to be the accomplice.
Owing to a series of events, Cha Ji Won gets suspicious of Baek Hee Seong. She starts her research on the actual Do Hyun Su and compares the data with her husband secretly. Finally she believes Baek Hee Seong to be the actual Do Hyun Su. But she trusts him and tries to prove him innocent.
Later it is revealed that the real accomplice of Do Min Seok is the real Baek Hee Seong (Kim Ji Hoon), who has been in coma for 15 years. The actual murderer of the village head was Do Hae Soo (Jang Hee Jin), whom Do Hyun Su was protecting all along.
The drama shows all the cruelty of how a human can cause another human. It was full of horror and was terrifying to watch. The drama will keep you on the edge of your seats. There are twists of events and you'll never know what'll happen next. It is amazingly cinematographed. There is an excellent plot with the spectacular acting by the actors. Even the music will run a chill down your spines. Worth a watch!!
