You are my hero is 2021 heartwarming romantic C-drama featuring Sandra Ma and Bai Jing Ting.
The drama begins with robbery in a jewellery shop where Mi Ka, a young doctor is taken as the hostage and is saved by Xing Kelei, a special policeman.
3 years later, Mi Ka (Sandra Ma) is shown to be a resident doctor in Renxin Hospital and has gone to the Special Police Bureau for training specialised for physical and emotional balance during disasters and emergency situations. Xing Kelei (Bai Jing Ting), is a young handsome captain of the Team Tiger Assault and trains the resident doctors. This is the beginning of their journey of love. Kelei fell in love with Mi Ka at first sight but doesn't express in the beginning. He makes sure that he makes his woman the strongest of all so that he doesn't have to worry about her when he is busy in different missions. Mi Ka faces several ups and downs in her life but she manages them so impressively. 
Together they face several hardships in their relationship, they even face life threatening situations but ultimately, both attain victory and continue their love life. 
The drama not only focuses on the relationship of Mi Ka and Xing Kelei but also other couples like Ruan Qing Xia and Captain Shu Wen Bo; Doctor Shao Yu Han and Xing Keyao. A little bit focus is on another couple of the hospital, Chen Tao and Xu Yanshan.
Qing Xia (Jiang Pei Yao) is a young, beautiful and lively journalist, and works especially for the military news. She is also the bestie of Mi Ka. They both know each other since their school life. Captain Shu (Chen Hao)(colleague of Kelei) is an introverted man who doesn't know how to talk to girls. He is a handsome and shy man. The relationship of them is quite hilarious and is worth a watch!! 
Doctor Shao (Wayne Wang)is an amazing neurosurgeon who is also the new Director of Neuroscience Department in Renxin Hospital. His favourite student is Mi Ka, whom he guides and teaches how to be emotionally stable and become the best doctor. He has a past relationship with Keyao (Zhang Yao) (Kelei's elder sister)and they reignite their love life on meeting after seven years.
There are several events which are quite similar to the Kdrama "Descendants of the Sun", however it is still quite a unique and interesting plot. The storyline is quite realistic and the viewers can enjoy by keeping themselves in their shoes. The drama showcases a perfect blend of emotions and has shown the real picture behind the busy lives of a doctor and a police officer. The drama can easily make the audience connect and relate with their daily lives. It was an amazing drama and is worth binge-watching. Highly recommended!!
