K-drama "Start-up"
Startup is an interesting and engaging drama featuring Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Seon Ho, Bae Suzy and Kang Han Na. It is highly recommended for those who actually want to have a startup of their own. The drama is all about how and what all things need to be kept in mind before and during a startup.
Seo Dal Mi (Suzy) and Seo In Jae ( Kang Han Na) are two sisters having parents who have regular quarrels since their father isn't stable with his job. He changes his jobs on a frequent basis. Their parents finally decide to divorce and get separated where Dalmi chooses her father and In Jae chooses her mother to stay with. Later, their mother get married to another man with a surname Won. Dal Mi's father starts with his successful startup but dies in an accident.
In between, after her mother's wedding to another person, Dal Mi gets lonely and sad, to which her grandmother builds a new relationship between Dalmi and a person called Do San who sends her letters and cheers her up. The person is actually Han Ji Pyeong (Kim Seon Ho), an orphan who is given shelter by Dal Mi's grandmother and later leaves to become a successful investor.
After 15 years, when the actual Nam Do San (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Dal Mi meet each other, is where the beautiful story of their love begins!! They get into a company called Sand box ( the real inspiration behind Dal Mi's childhood, story shared by her father to the CEO of the company) which helps give wings to all the new entrepreneurs starting their businesses. This is where Han Ji Pyeong becomes their mentor and the love triangle forms. The question arises, what will be Dal Mi's reaction when she gets to know about the actual Do San and the Do San who wrote her letters in their childhood? Will she begin her love relationship with Ji Pyeong or Do San? Will she win the bet of becoming more successful than In Jae?
The drama was very realistic and reasonable. The title was justified with the plot. Amazing cinematography and direction, plot. Beautiful acting!! It was worth watching.
