C-drama "Professional Single"
The drama focusses on the opportunities and hurdles one faces during the college days, hostel life and love-life. It is a journey from being professional singles to being in a romantic relationship.
Yuan Qian (Ireine Song), a professional single, who finds it difficult to fall in love with someone because she always finds something wrong with the person approaching her. She is a student of the Sculpture Department and is determined to change her major to Oil Painting.
Qin Shen (Aaron Dong), another professional single doesn't want to fall in love with someone because he thinks it's a waste of time. He is also a student of the Sculpture Department and is a brilliant student. But his family doesn't support his career.
Both of their lives get mingled and they get attracted towards each other. Although they fall in love yet don't accept the fact and keep on irritating each other with their rudeness and cold behaviour. But in the end, it is Qin Shen, the insensitive man confesses first and they begin their relationship.
But what will Qin Shen and Yuan Qian do, when their love rivals keep on interfering in their lives? Will they have a break-up and will remain forever single? How will the other people react when they get to know that Yuan Qian is changing her major? These are some questions which arises in the minds of the audience.
The drama is full of humour since both the parties have a funny way to express themselves. Excellent plot, acting and script writing. It ends with Yuan Qian saying:
Be considerate and be yourself. Learn to communicate. Relationship is not something for two to stay together but growing with it.
The drama also has a beautiful song, highly recommended for listening, 'Belongs to you'.
