The Girl Who Sees Smells
The drama begins with Choi Eun Seol (Shin Se Kyung), a high schooler, who is returning back home from school and finds her parents murdered inside her house. The murderer tries to kill her but she escapes and meets with a car accident. Her name tag remains with the murderer.
On the other hand, Choi Moo Gak (Park Yoochun) is in a conversation with her sister Choi Eun Seol, another high schooler, who has met with an accident and asks her brother to meet her. The murderer mistakenly kills Moo Gal's sister believing her to be another Choi Eun Seol. This puts Moo Gak into a trauma which causes him to lose all his senses leaving behind his sight and sense of hearing. He decides to become a police officer and to avenge her sister's death.
Eun Seol is shown to be in a coma for several months and when she wakes up, she loses her memory and gets a new sense of seeing smells. A detective adopts her and gives her a new identity of Oh Cho Rim.
After some years, both Cho Rim and Moo Gak meet each other for the sake of accomplishing missions and to mutually help each other. They share their secrets and slowly get attached to each other. Together they set on a journey to catch the serial murderer of the Barcode case.
The actual culprit kills people on an yearly basis and kills them by suffocating and making a barcode on their hands. He is a psychopath but looks like a gentleman.
The drama was interesting but was quite predictable.The plot was new and the beginning of the drama was very engaging. The thriller parts keeps the audience on the edges of their seats which accomplishes the main theme of the drama. It was overall a good drama.
